FUJI DS-300T, DS-300TH - 1997.  The German web site Digitalkameramuseum reports two medical variations of the DS-300, the DS-300T and DS-300TH.  Differences from the basic DS-300 are not known, but designations on the bottom of the cameras state DS-300T and DS-300TH.

FUJI DS-300 / PENTAX DM-1100 - 1997.    Pentax has marketed a wide variety of medical photography products over the years, and still does.  In 1997 they sold a modified version of the Fuji DS-300 for that purpose.  It had a permanent lens barrel and the P/S/A/M/PC modes removed.  Also, the lens does not zoom in and out, but is stationary.  Apparently, only a few were made, but an individual did come across one in 2019.  This is just one of many hundreds, perhaps thousands of cameras that have been used for industrial, medical or scientific purposes.  Most of such cameras were not sold for consumer use and thus are seldom seen for sale on eBay or elsewhere.  Occasionally, such consumer cameras as the Fuji DS-300 or the Fuji DS-220 were modified and sold for medical or other purposes and somertimes do appear for sale.  Since they were based on consumer model cameras they are often of interest to collectors.

FUJI DX-5 (Clip-It DS-10, DS-10S (Blue Limited Edition) in Japan) - 1997.  1/3-inch 640 x480 pixel CCD.  ISO 100 (150 for DX-5).  38mm lens, f/3.1.  Shutter 1/4 to 1/5000 second.  MSRP $349.  Limited edition DS-10S (3,000 out of approximately 500,000 DS-10) see-through (skeleton) model shown bottom in blue.   DS-10S was only sold in Japan, so rarely appears on U.S. eBay.  When it does it generally involves a significant shipment charge from Asia or Australia.  We believe we were the first digital camera history web site to provide a photo and information concerning this camera.

HEWLETT-PACKARD PhotoSmart C-5340A (Konica Q-EZ) - 1997.  1/3-inch 640 x 480 pixel CCD.  ISO 100.  F/2.8 autofocus 43mm lens.   Shutter 1/3- to 1/2000 second.  Although marketed 22 years ago, we were able to find this new-in-the-box camera with all items still wrapped as when manufactured.  More proof that collectors should check eBay "vintage digital cameras" at least once a week in order to not miss finds such as this.  Thanks to Anna71964 for providing us with this new addition to our collection     We believe we were the first digital camera history web site to provide a photo and information concerning this camera.
